The Star Tide

I have been a life-long Star Wars fan and have also always loved the Illustrated Star Wars Cross-Section books done by Hans Jenson and Richard Chasemore. One of the few things I have found missing in those books is a cross section of one of my favorite ships from the Holy Trilogy (Episodes IV, V, and VI), the MC80 Mon Calamari Cruiser. The illustration above is my very amateurish attempt at illustrating a plausible cross-section for this ship. (As most canon sources have indicated that no two MC80s are the same, I have taken some artistic liberties in designing this particular ship with a ventral docking bay and large turblaser banks reminiscent of the Imperial Star Destroyers).
